Happy 6 Month Birthday Molly

So, when molly turned 6 months, we treated her to her own room, give her and us a little more independance, not that i was particularly bothered, shes still a great sleeper for the most part. But i had fun making up her room. She has got a lovely collection of bits and bobs for her room from all her lovely relatives and friends - thanks to everyone. What im going to do when she is a bit older is buy a lovely big globe for her and let her see where all her things are from. So if any of you are somewhere exciting itd be lovely to get a nice postcard or little trinket to add to her cork boards.

Mollys got a boyfriend!!

Well we were in Milton Keynes end of March to catch up with some old friends. Its been a long time since I was in good ol MK, its been too long! Due to dodgy car im gutted that we didnt get to see everyone that i should have seen. We will get to Chepstowe to see you in the summer Liz, I promise. So we didnt really get up to anything exciting, just going round some old haunts, bit of charity shopping and visiting the odd pub or two. Many thanks to ma wee LauraPie and Tom for putting us up and putting up with us for a whole week. We had a lovely time. Wee molly had a great time with her boyfriend Isaac. Aww what a wee cracker he is, well a big cracker actually. Hes only three weeks older than wee molly and twice the size. I'll post some more photos at some point, laura managed to get some great shots.

So hopefully we will manage down again in the summer, get the tent out, im quite sure that molly will love to go camping, try and see all the folks we missed this time around.

Where Does Time Go?

Well i suppose recently ive lost a few hours here and there creating a proper mySpace account, im a bit slow but i get there eventually www.myspace.com/antilorna (still think facebooks better but!).

Little Molly is nearly 4 months old now and I just dont seem to get enough time to update this blog. Im not complaining, i dont think i could have picked a better baby. Shes gaining weight well and reaching all her milestones. She still sleeps in our room, we put her in her crib a couple of hours before we go to bed and will usually sleep for about 10 -11 hours a night. She gets the boobs about every two hours and doesnt complain about her cloth nappies. Shes a wee smiler, has started giggling and loves touchy feely books, baby massage and baby yoga, but most of all shes loves the television, just like Daddy, eh? What is it they say tho - Good baby, Bad toddler!

We manage to get out and about quite a bit visiting grannies, grandas and aunties, ive even left her for a couple of hours while i go and get the shopping (exciting stuff yes!). We go to the breastfeeding support groups and story telling at the library, plus she gets dumped at the creche at the gibshill resource centre for two hours once a week so i can go to 'get fit class' *sigh* its gony be a long road! Between that and going to doctors and dentists, i feel im hardly ever in the house!

I spose im gony have to think about going back to call centre hell soon, just part time for now though, 8 till midnight couple of nights a week, few hours at the weekend. Means i can be home all day for wee munchkin and daddy can put her to bed at night. *sigh* i dread the thought, i really have enjoyed my maternity leave :(

Hopefully gony be in milton keynes 2nd or 3rd week in Febuary - assuming the local tribesfolk can leave my car alone long enough and i dont have to shell out 200 quid again to get my front and back windows replaced! Then off to Cork to be sure to be sure to see uncle bawbag n aunty loulou in april. So theres a couple of things to be looking forward to.

Wee Angel

Well im 8 weeks old now and getting big n chubby - 10lb 3 at the last weigh in, so mummy must be doing something right! I like to sleep all night which keeps mummy and daddy really happy. I also like smiling, playing at lions, being super cute and most of all, i like boobies! Hope yous like the photies.

Molly Elizabeth Swankie

Awright yous!! Its Wee Molly here! I arrived on Friday 5th October at 1658 after a very lucky 5 hour labour with no complications or dramas, Daddy was there the whole way for both of us, he cut my cord and was amazing throughout. We all got home on Sunday evening and have settled down fantastically. Ive been a proper wee angel, my Mummy and Daddy are very lucky to have me! Im breastfeeding well and sleeping well, Mummy is managing to catch up on all the sleep she lost over the last 9 months and is feeling better all the time.

We cant express how greatful we are for all the love and support and for all the fantastic gifts from everyone, its been so overwhelming, thank you all for everything!
