Molly Elizabeth Swankie

Awright yous!! Its Wee Molly here! I arrived on Friday 5th October at 1658 after a very lucky 5 hour labour with no complications or dramas, Daddy was there the whole way for both of us, he cut my cord and was amazing throughout. We all got home on Sunday evening and have settled down fantastically. Ive been a proper wee angel, my Mummy and Daddy are very lucky to have me! Im breastfeeding well and sleeping well, Mummy is managing to catch up on all the sleep she lost over the last 9 months and is feeling better all the time.

We cant express how greatful we are for all the love and support and for all the fantastic gifts from everyone, its been so overwhelming, thank you all for everything!

I'll let yous all know how i'm getting on soon.

Grannys Heilan' Hame

Well, not much to report folks, Lump is getting bigger and bigger, Im getting less and less sleep, more and more heartburn and I now have a definate waddle! Im told its all worth it in the end (!?). On the up side, Ive now knocked off work and Im a lady of leisure until Baby decides to make a break for it. Only another 4 weeks or so to go, I want to make the most of it.

But anyway, we've been spending a bit of time over at Hunters Quay where Granny Walker has bought a wee caravan, smashing so it is!! Im sure everyone, including Baby will have many happy holidays there.

CarbethFest/HutFest

What a magic day we had on Saturday! A huge big thank you to Peter (organiser, roadie, soundman, builder, MC, lead guitar etc), (the long suffering ;p) Tina and Wee Toby, all the performers and all the rest of the Hutters for a smashing Mini Festival at the hut in Carbeth - Glastonbury? Pahh! Rubbish! Apart from the odd wee shower it was a perfect day - my big fat swollen feet and a wee rubber Graham the only thing making us leave a bit early. Hope the rest of the night went well (and not too messily)!

Lazy Lorna

I know, its been ages since I posted anything. Ive keeping a low profile recently, feeling super fat and getting fatter. Im now just over 5 months gone and most of the curse that is morning sickness has passed, but it seems to flare up every couple of weeks. I was sick as a pig all last week. Nice!! But, for the most part, Im feeling naw too bad. Still quite terrified and daunted by the whole thing, but hey, its a bit late for that noo!! No cravings as of yet, just loads of aversions, I seem to have gone off loads of stuff i used to like, tea, coffee, chocolate, any kind of onion, garlic, cooked peppers, lasange, not to mention the ability to boalk and gag on cue for no real reason!! Ive not really put any weight on which im not too worried aboot. Theres was plenty lea-way there to start with!

Wee Munchkin is doing well, everything is as and where it should be. Its favorite game just recently is playing bouncy castles on my bladder. It likes listening to Muse and Maximo Park and it cany wait to go camping, goes crazy anytime i start talking about it. Oh ay and it likes kicking Daddy in the head, but who doesnae!!
